the holidays had a different meaning and life to them this year.
Thanksgiving morning we spent at Starbucks – an annual tradition for Patrick and I. We love that its the start of the holiday season, everything is full of cheer and everyone is in good spirits. Looks like B is becoming a coffee addict as well 🙂
Thanksgiving dinner was hosted by my parents in their new home in Texas. We missed having our families not all be together this year, but it was a lovely evening spent with Grandma & Grandpa and they put out a feast.
B’s first time eating Thanksgiving dinner!
This Christmas was the best one yet. Although he is too young to grasp what Christmas is, I was overjoyed to share everything with him this season.
Daddy & Brennan at the neighborhood Santa breakfast.
Helping mommy decorate the tree. I think he just loved sitting in the box 🙂
Taking a little snooze on the couch on a cold winter morning.
We hosted a Holiday open house this year. It was wonderful to have all our friends stop by and spend a little time with them during this busy season.
Christmas eve we went to our first mass at Woodsedge Church. It was a beautiful service with a lot of music that Brennan really enjoyed. He did great throughout the entire thing.
After mass we headed to my parents for a lovely Christmas eve dinner and present opening! B got spoiled and loved opening (&eating!) his own gifts.
Before bed back at our house, we had a tradition to fulfill. Every year Patrick and his sister holler up the chimney before bed on Christmas eve and tell Santa what they want for Christmas morning. Its a beautiful way to end the evening as a family.
Such a big boy doing it all himself!
Christmas morning Brennan woke up at 5am. Its like he knew Santa was coming. We opened stockings and gifts under the tree as a family until B got a bit fussy and needed an early morning nap, leaving mommy & daddy to open the rest of his gifts.
Trying so hard to crawl, but not moving anywhere quite yet.
It was an amazing holiday season, and we have so much to be thankful for. Our health, our family and friends, a gorgeous home and so much more. Happy Holidays everyone!
